Every car owner in the world happens to lose their keys at one time or another. A personal story that I actually experienced only a few weeks back was the following.
I went out to a family wedding and my partner decided not to come along as she was not feeling too well, it was getting quite late into the evening and I decided to make my way home. By the time I got to the car I had noticed that I had mislaid my keys and silly me left my wallet sitting in the car. All of my money was literally stored in my wallet so I could not get the train home either.
Well I was pretty stuck to be honest, but I suddenly remembered something that I had heard on the radio that could have potentially worked. So I called my partner as she had a spare key sitting in the bedroom. I asked her to help me open the car so I could get my wallet; she simply did not have a clue what I was talking about. So I basically explained to her that these are the three steps we need to take.
1) She placed the key next to the hand set she was speaking on; it had to be right next to the mouth piece otherwise it would not have worked.Suddenly all I heard was a little click and the doors were open, I was actually quite shocked as I did not think this would work in the slightest. So all you need to remember next time you are locked out of your car are these three easy to use steps.
2) I placed the phone right next to the sensor on the car, which was actually next to the sunroof.
3) I shouted out to my partner to press the unlock button.
Or alternatively try not to lose your keys in the first place :-)
